I had some fun developing a pair of projects for the 'SZDIF 2018 Gadget Design Award' contest promoted by @desallcom. This one is called TAGTIME and it's a wearable accessory featuring a digital watch and a smart identity tag.

TAGTIME is a wearable and fashionable accessory (wear it as a necklace or put it in your pockets) featuring a digital watch and a smart identity tag for sharing personal business informations.
It comes in two different colours and finishes: charcoal grey for men, tiffany blue for women.

The starting point of the research to design the official souvenir of the Shenzhen International Industrial Design Fair 2018 was the theme "Design drives [Knowledge] drives Design".
Knowledge means also getting to know new people and possible business partners during an international fair.
So TAGTIME is the digital evolution of the business card and the identity tag we usually put on ourselves during an exhibition. It can save the personal informations of the user with a scan of the business card and share them with another TAGTIME or send themo to a Smartphone that will read the QR code.
Once the fair is over, TAGTIME is a digital watch you can use in your daily life. (and of course it keeps being a digital business card on the go).

During the first installation you will be asked to insert your personal info (including a digital copy of your business card) and the device will produce a QR-code.

to share your info simply activate the NFC and get the device close to the other one. It will collect all the business cards and once the Exhibition is over, you will have all of them in digital format and automatically converted into vcard files.

to share your info simply press the QR code button, it will show up on the display, and then it can be scanner by a smartphone.
