O "Curta o Campus" é um projeto de extensão promovido pela Pró-Reitoria de Extensão e Cultura da Universidade Federal de Goiás (PROEC-UFG), com o intuito de estreitar os laços entre a comunidade universitária e a sociedade em geral. Sua primeira edição, sediada no Campus Samambaia, em Goiânia, foi concebida como um espaço de integração e intercâmbio entre esses dois segmentos.
Durante o evento inaugural, uma ampla gama de atividades foi oferecida aos participantes, abrangendo áreas científicas, tecnológicas, artísticas, culturais e filosóficas. O objetivo principal era incentivar a participação da comunidade e promover o conhecimento das iniciativas da instituição.
Uma das atividades em destaque foi um concurso de pipas, cujo tema central foi inspirado nas pipas e nas belas árvores de ipê que adornam o campus. A presença dessas árvores, especialmente durante o mês de setembro, quando o evento ocorreu pela primeira vez, acrescentou um toque de beleza e vitalidade à atmosfera do "Curta o Campus".
O projeto "Curta o Campus" continuou a crescer e se expandir, contando com o apoio de diversos setores da universidade federal, bem como da sociedade civil, empresas parceiras, órgãos governamentais e organizações não governamentais. "Curta o Campus" is an extension project promoted by the Pro-Rectorate of Extension and Culture at the Federal University of Goiás (PROEC-UFG), aimed at strengthening the bonds between the university community and society at large. Its inaugural edition, hosted at the Samambaia Campus in Goiânia, was conceived as a space for integration and exchange between these two segments.
During the inaugural event, a wide range of activities was offered to participants, covering scientific, technological, artistic, cultural, and philosophical areas. The main objective was to encourage community participation and promote awareness of the institution's initiatives.
One of the highlighted activities was a kite-flying contest, whose central theme was inspired by kites and the beautiful ipê trees that adorn the campus. The presence of these trees, especially during the month of September when the event took place for the first time, added a touch of beauty and vitality to the atmosphere of "Curta o Campus."
The "Curta o Campus" project has continued to grow and expand, with the support of various sectors of the federal university, as well as civil society, partner companies, governmental agencies, and non-governmental organizations.
