The balancing of rocks (or stacking of stones, as some call it) is an art, discipline or hobby in which the rocks are naturally balanced on top of each other in various positions. No adhesives, wires, brackets or rings are allowed.

This type of rock balance can be an art of exhibition, a show or a meditation, depending on the interpretation of each person. Essentially, it involves placing a combination of rocks or stones in balance for which patience and sensitivity is required, creating an appearance of being physically impossible to maintain the balance and where the balance of the rocks is highly unlikely
