This cartoon and "Newspaper" story expose the millions of animals suffering and held captive in research laboratories in Universities, Government facilities, and other locations in the United States and across the world.  These experiments are cruel, torturous, painful, and deadly.  Many of these experiments are done for the inane purposes of testing cosmetics.  Most of these experiments including medical (contrary to popular belief they have not yielded any significant cures of human diseases) are performed for the sole purpose of greed and money (grants to Universities for example.)
