Witnesses, the third study in the Journey series by Awana Youth Ministries is a 32 week curriculum created to help students live out their faith. While the previous book Advocates dealt with abstract topics like beauty and universe, Witnesses gets to the heart of a highly relational gospel. The artwork therefore reflects a more personal experience for the student through the use of every day imagery and themes.
My process for these books included conception, prototype development, layout, type-setting, illustration, and photography. The full book includes 32 accompanying illustrations broken into 8 topics.
