Overview
In 2018 Kenya Airways launched a historic non-stop flight from Nairobi to
New York, connecting the region for the first time.
The task was to create a rich cultural experience reflective the African.

Approach
I took cultural patterns and textures from African artifacts to create a contemporary graphic montage that reflected us as one continent.
I took cultural patterns and textures from African artifacts to create a contemporary graphic montage that reflected us as one continent.
These patterns and textures were inspired by traditional and contemporary carvings, textiles, jewellery, basketry, musical instruments, utensils etc.
The Graphic was transcend across passenger hospitality touch points that range from your personal interactive screens, antimacassar, soft furnishing, cutlery and crockery, etc.
