In the Fall of 2017, my husband and I stole ourselves away from the humdrum of the city to a quiet cabin in the Tennessee mountains for a weekend to celebrate our anniversary. It was late October, yet the morning of the shoot, we were surprised with frigid temperatures followed by a mild dose of pristine snowfall. We spent the entire day, despite the cold, out by the firepit, cooking breakfast and a three course lunch (all plant-based). A weekend without cell reception and human interaction. Just us. It was perfect.
