Piknik i Parken (Picnic in the park) is a Norwegian music festival with spectacular surroundings – in the middle of the worlds largest sculpture park made by a single artist, The Vigeland Park.
When developing the visual identity for the festival, we took inspiration from Gustav Vigelands neo-romantic style and mixed it with more contemporary elements. Vigeland was famous for sculpting important cultural personalities of his time. We honored the festivals headliners in the same spirit, hand-drawned as sculptures.
