Every year, a city gets to be chosen as the recipient of the City of Culture. A city that was chosen this year was Cardiff, which is the capital of Wales, UK. Everyone in that city got an informational mailer, which I was asked to create and print.

The mailer featured the colors and aesthetics that reflected Cardiff’s culture and ethos. The mailers each would include a gate-fold folder with pockets with a CD, DVD, postcard, poster, art print and a letter of recognition. All of which were printed with high quality.

The most important part was to get information out about the city. The poster contained information about the arts, the DVD about the history of Cardiff and the CD contained the anthems of Cardiff. Each item was printed with high quality foil, embossing and spot colors.
