Leon Liang XU's profile

TEACHING PORTFOLIO, GRAPHICS & VISUAL STUDIES, 2014-16

This course is an investigation of visual form through a process of seeing, thinking and drawing. It intends to develop a deeper visual perception by enriching student’s visual experience, to introduce them to various visual phenomena, to encourage them to explore their own living environment, all of which will contribute to building the visual fundamentals of design. The course covers three aspects in the field of visual study and drawing: fundamentals of drawing techniques; the concept and technique of drawing systems (orthographic, paraline and perspective projections); basic visual concepts and formal elements. All the visual experiments in this course will be conducted through drawing activities.
