This project is a photographic study of the interiors of small businesses through the portraiture of employees and store owners found working at the time of the photograph. Each is taken with a similar composition for the purpose of consistent and direct aesthetic comparison. I am interested in the space created by the placement of objects and the counter top at the point of sale.
