Jervois & Co — Not another real estate agent

Branding
Jervois & Co — Not another real estate agent.

Jervois and Co is a disruptive new player in Auckland's residential real estate scene; offering a genuinely unique offer. Led by Amy Wildman, a one-woman band, Jervois & Co focusses solely on Herne Bay, Auckland's most affluent suburb.

In a sector known for dishonesty, cheesy salespeople, cheap suits, and dumbed-down cookie-cutter marketing, Amy offers a refreshing antidote; a new school, modern approach based on honesty and integrity, tailored marketing, and a 'charge less, do more' ethos.

As she had a lot to say, we developed a flexible brand that could speak to different audiences, be both campaignable and message-driven, and also deliver on the more functional touchpoints that an agent requires.

We developed a clean and classic typographic identity that adopts a superscript 'o'; a link back to the 'Co' in the logo, as well as a reference geographic locations (the degrees symbol found in lattitude and longitude co-ordinates). The typographic system feels more at home on a perfume label or fashion brand than a real estate agent. The 'o' is then taken through to tag various words and phrases as a unique, ownable and instantly recognisable point of difference.

We created a set of hyper-real, luxy campaign images to set Jervois & Co aside from their run-of-the-mill competition who lead with large cut-out portraits of sales agents. Inspired by fashion photography and pop-art, these impactful attention-grabbing images sell the aspirational benefits of living in the area, firmly establishing Jervois & Co as a new, fresh player in the market.

We created bespoke For Sale and Open Home signs, engineered out of powder-coated steel. The clean, simple, and understated designs completely go against the grain of the cluttered, shouty and cheaply produced flute-board conventions of her competition.
