Augmented reality penetrates our life more and more, and in the Normal Kyiv restaurant we have implemented this into the interior created by YOD design lab: painted graffiti on the walls are supplemented with digital patterns created using 3D-mapping technology.

The task was to make it possible to change the atmosphere depending on the mode of operation of the restaurant. Normal is located in one of the best business centers in Kiev - Toronto, so during the day there can be business meetings, business lunches, in the evening it becomes a bar, and closer to night, according to the restaurateur's plan, he transforms into a club.

Such a variety of transformations in the interior is carried out due to light solutions. A lot of programmed scenes with different lighting effects and projections form the atmosphere and emotional states of visitors. But emotions in our time - this is almost all the salt of institutions and their activities)

The daytime scene is static and in neutral colors, in the evening the dynamics of more active color tones appear, which in the night club mode turn red, and graffiti on the wall in this mode begin to be supplemented with content of different degrees of activity in accordance with the emotional states of this or that time of day.

The application of 3D-mapping on interior graffiti is absolutely new for restaurants in Ukraine.

Graffiti in Normal, painted on two perpendicular walls, comes alive thanks to mapping and becomes the most attractive element of the interior. More than 30 variants of projections follow each other in a special timing in accordance with the general lighting scenes.

Special designs covering the back of the stage are formed from individually designed mushroom-like lighting devices. Each such device is a separately controlled pixel, which allows you to run a variety of dynamic light patterns.

The lighting of the bar counter is also varied dynamically and is capable of changing the color gamut.

In the night mode, in the corridor, at the bar stand, invisible symbols appear during the day under the influence of ultraviolet rays of special LED light sources.

All lighting is controlled by a specially developed by us complex system, which creates its own light scene every day and every hour. Various light sources and lighting devices (projectors, media elements, RGB-lamps) are controlled through this single system, which is created in such a way that for all variety and a large number of elements, the control is carried out as simply and as much as possible automatically.

Different atmospheres in the daytime, in the evening, at night, on weekdays and Friday evenings - a variety of conditions will pleasantly surprise every visitor. So that you will not be bored in such a place)
