After coming across a particularly arresting article on imminent nuclear threat and the worsening of nuclear waste storage, I decided to create a series of posters for the CND. The Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament are an organisation dedicated to raising awareness of the ‘nuclear problem’ but I feel that recent generations still remain blissfully unaware. The posters use personal address to make a direct plea to viewers, they could be considered tongue in cheek in an attempt to soften the otherwise dark subject matter.
