Buzludzha monument was built by the Bulgarian communist regime. Now the structure is abounded and crumbling more than 20 years. Еvery day, however, it is visited by adventurers - lovers of dark tourism and foreigners. The access inside is prohibited, as the construction is severely compromised. The site is featured in an international ranking for deserted places and destinations for urbex tourism. I personally consider the place in my master thesis as an object of abandoned cultural heritage and the potential to become a tourist destination.
