Lucas & Steve made a design contest for students around the world to make a design for their new single "Where have you gone (anywhere)". It's a huge opportunity to show my talent / design around the world. I wanted to make something fresh but also a bit vintage.
A little bit more about my concept. While I was designing the cover, I played the song on repeat to get me in the right mood. The song has an electronic feel and it makes you feel like you're on top of the world. So those two vibes I wanted to reflect in my design. The big mountain and the astronaut are representing the "on top of the world" feeling and galaxy and neon-lighting are representing the electronic feel of the music.
As you can see I used warm colours because the song gives you that warm feeling of searching for love. The grain on the cover makes it look more vintage. Everyone loves vintage right now, it's a trend.
