Coal car wheels in black and white - as if you couldn't tell.
Up close and personal
Sleeps seven. Built by a couple of miners who didn't want to sleep in a canvas tent all winter. A year later, the family of one of the miners also moved in.
Feeding eight people in luxury accomodation
Back end of the Miner's shack. The miners had to build their own accommodations if they wanted something more than the canvas tent provided by the company. Most materials were stolen in the dead of night. You can see the various layers of construction.
