The joint exhibition of the Mayakovsky State Museum and the Marina Tsvetaeva House-Museum dedicated to the 125th anniversary of V. Mayakovsky is an immersion into the bright and complex world of poetry by Vladimir Mayakovsky and Marina Tsvetaeva.
15 themes of the exhibition reveal their poetic universes, creative intersections, the unity of their proximity-polarity, the tragedy of life trajectories of two poets at the turn of epochs. From the “The Origins of Creativity” theme to the “Heroism of a loner” theme the viewer travels from Eternity to Eternity (from the source of talent to self-immolation).
A constructive font and elements were created for the exhibition, they form the basis of the graphic language. The walls of the last hall are covered with poetic texts symbolising the dialogue between two rebel poets who are close to their uncompromising rejection of the “mad world”.
