Naming and logo design for a new italian company of products for men’s body care: Robur wants to make manhood and elegance two of its most important core values.
The naming "Robur" (lat. robur, roboris) is the Latin name of oak wood and par excellence has the meaning of strength, vigour, solidity, robustness (lat. vis, roboris).
The logo was obtained from the stylization of the oak tree, eliminating the leaves to make the wood stand out. This has been inserted in the shape of a square which, according to the symbolism, with its edges and straight lines expresses the masculine principle of the universe.
