UCLA Radio - Pledge Drive 2016
Every year, UCLA Radio has their annual Pledge Drive to raise funds for the station. For every Pledge Drive, the Art & Design Department Manager works with their fellow Department Managers to come up with a unified visual theme for all graphics related to Pledge Drive. As the Art & Design Department Manager for the 2015-2016 school year, I developed a quirky geometric design inspired by textiles from hip-hop fashion of the 1990's. The font we used was our designated UCLA Radio font (Futura), but we rounded the edges to keep it within the same visual language as the bubbly shapes of the backdrop it was overlaid on. These designs were used for both digital and print purposes.
24-Hour Programming Schedules
These calendars were used on social media and as flyers to distribute information about our daily 24-hour programming schedules during Pledge Drive. Color schemes were changed every day for variation. Dates and individual show information were interchanged as necessary.
Daily Events & General Flyers - Instagram & Print
I created flyers to advertise all major events during Pledge Drive. Formatting of text was maintained throughout each flyer for thematic uniformity. Web flyers were created to be square-shaped for ease of use on socials. The design for our print flyers was slightly simplified to bring more focus to the text. I also pared the color scheme down to black and white and designed them to be four flyers per print page to cut down on printing costs.

Snapchat Geofilter
To commemorate our Pledge Drive and encourage information sharing on social media by fellow students, I created a Snapchat filter that was available for use on the Snapchat app for the entire week-long duration of our Pledge Drive. To use the geofilter, students had to be in or near Ackerman Union, the center of student activities on UCLA's campus, which thus drove them physically towards where our daily Pledge Drive events were held. The geofilter featured the signature 90's textile design that was in all of our Pledge Drive graphics.

Socials, UCLA Radio Website, and Print Banners
I created banners for the UCLA Radio website and all UCLA Radio socials to be used during the duration of Pledge Drive. Information was interchanged as necessary. I also created a black and white print banner that was used as an ad in UCLA's famed daily news publication, The Daily Bruin.
