Brand Evolution for Trainline

In 2018, as Senior Designer at Trainline's in-house team, I worked in collaboration with Studio Koto on evolving the Trainline brand.​​​​​​​

With limited time and budget we managed to do internal research around brand appreciation, as well as usertesting around a new app icon to convince internal stakeholders this change would not affect brand recognition.

Below: screen we presented to new and existing users who were asked to find today's cheapest ticket for a single trip from London to Birmingham with the Trainline app. 100% of all participants were able to successfully complete this task.
Trainline is an online product and therefore this brand had to work well within the app and on the website. We held several collaboration sessions with Trainline's product and design team and made sure they were closely involved with the progress on this brand.

Finally for optimal internal buy-in we created a brand video to introduce the entire company to the evolved brand.
