An outcome of one week poster design workshop held by Rajesh Dahiya and Vivek Sadamate. The brief of this assignment was to choose a sound track and to write a short paragraph, title in one word and also to give it a one line heading. We were also asked to choose an object which would best describe the title as well as the song. The next steps were to abstarct the song into visuals, followed by hand drawn letterforms and then finally compose all the things together to design a poster. The song I chose was Back in Black by ACDC and the object i choose was a boomerang and the write up is as follows:
This song brings about a sudden burst of energy and carries a certain kind of attitude with it. The raw energy builds up as the music proceeds. The tune of the song is so strong that it vibrates through one's mind and you can hardly stop yourself from head banging. The song is a tribute to the lead singer who was one of the essential pillars of the band. The spirit of the vocalist is revived through this song. An epic come back song where the new vocalist and the guitarist have done a remarkable job. The song still reverberates in your ears even after it stops playing.
