Appearance of a dynamic arm support

For my bachelor assignment for Industrial Design Engineering at the University of Twente, I collaborated with Focal Meditech to design the cover for a new dynamic arm support on a wheel chair. For the assignment, I researched the influence of the appearance of the arm support on the acceptance of the product. Than I followed a design process from ideation to realisation in close collaboration with the expert of the company that was working on the functional design. Finally I created a prototype using 3D printing and traditional wood working.
