Santander is the 7th player in Italy for total consumer lending production and 2nd in the automotive loans segment. Its product mix is primarily focused on new car loans. From May to July 2017, Santander has developed a Digital and Innovation Strategy Project with the external support by Alkemy. Alkemy has identified three urgent project streams to be launched at the beginning of October 2017 and has acted as a partner for all proposed streams. One of the main streams was the development of the New Customer front-end prototype. Alkemy has supported Santander in designing the final Mock-up and UX design prototype.
The project leads to the release of mock-up and UX design prototype of the New Web Corporate Website, first pillar of the Santander Digital Transformation Journey, with a new digital experience that mirrors the renewed customer experience. The New Corporate Website has – a mobile first user experience – fast and flexible structure – light design – increased usability – chatbot as a virtual h24/7 advisor.
