Design Principles
We started developing this project with the philosophy of trying to find a balanced use of CNC crafted woodworks/Furniture, one that doesn’t compromise the design, feels personal and not very machined.
This evolved into three main principles or guidelines; we want to make a product that:
1) Looks good and feels personal.
2) Mainfests from the capabilities of CNC machining.
3) Delivers durability at a very reasonable manufacturing cost.
Design Development
By structuring the model with an interlocking mechanism, we ensure the minimum use of accessories, that add to the cost and affect durability.
