In 2016, I was tasked with creating a fully responsive website in 6 weeks for my Web Site Design and Internet/Web Technologies class. Beginning with target audience research and moving on to thorough site planning and implementation, the purpose of the website was to demonstrate that the student had a grasp of proper HTML5 semantics and accessibility across multiple browsers and viewports.

Moss & Fern is a fictitious terrarium company in El Paso, TX. I built their website with a focus on mobile-first design and fluid layout elements, choosing elegant, soothing natural colors in consideration of the subject matter.
When creating the mockups, I originally had a drastically different form of navigation for the mobile version of the site. This was ultimately scrapped in favor of a more streamlined, consistent look.
