Select Speed is a STL-local club for auto enthusiasts with a passion for mechanics and making cars go fast. It was created by a couple of gear-head best friends who frequently bonded over two main things: helping each other work on their personal cars... and drinking Bud Select while doing it. These guys' DIY mentalities and resourceful natures allow them to get creative when fixing up their vehicles. They do what it takes with their scrappy "can-do" attitudes to get it done by track day. They have heart when discussing all things car-related, a genuine passion for getting sideways and burning rubber. My goal was to design a brand that reflected this.

The logo for Select Speed is inspired by its founders' grittiness when it comes to working on their cars. The line quality and type is intentionally imperfect and bold. T-shirt graphics mimic the same illustration style used in the logo, unapologetically demonstrating Select Speed members' love for fast cars.
