Metal typeface is a new Latin/Cyrillic font-family inspired by the industrial flavor of mid 20th century. This new typeface came after a commission for a flea market, Marché Dauphine, one of the biggest in Europe. .

Metal is a font system containing nine widths into a single weight, a variable-font system project has led to this result. 

One of the thing about metal, apart from the close and square letterform, is the linear aspect due to the desire to restrict all descenders on the baseline. 

In supplement, 3 alternatives sets was added for some letters and ponctuactions. 

Metal is available in OTF format (9 width range from Reg-1 to Reg-9) or in variable-font format.
