The kiosk that creates art based on your pulse. Once your pulse is taken it uses the pattern to generate a piece of art that is uniquely yours. Once your art has been generated you can personalize it, similar to Instagram or Snapchat. As soon as your art is ready you can personalize it with easy to use filters to share on social media and email it to yourself to save forever.
Dimensions of how we wanted to make the kiosk. We wanted it to look similar to a heart shape, but also be see through to allow for fiber optic lights to be placed on it to mimic veins.
The mock-up was made out of plexiglass and the screen sat in the center with the pulse taker at the bottom.
Mockup of how it would light up with lights. The final plan was for there to be fiber-optics strung around like veins.
Some places to see this kiosk would be in a doctors office.
Could also be seen in any waiting room, dentist, design firm, eye doctor.
The following images are all screen grabs of the XD interface we created to go onto the screen. It was simple, but allowed the user to navigate through with ease and mimicked an Instagram or snapchat feed. The user could take their pulse and then apply filters or designs based on what their heart rate created. We coded the interface to actually be used on the raspberry device for the first prototype.
