Dynaudio has reached out to our Nytec team asking for a design of a personal, portable speaker to join their new consumer products line. Goal was to attract younger target group to brand's heritage and offer them their “first speaker”.
Cylindrical metal cap rising above the tweeter becomes a control dial allowing for intuitive volume adjustment with the flick of a finger while a seamlessly integrated light indicator gives you subtle visual feedback. The active subwoofer and tweeter was designed to produce rich bass and a high-frequency sound, and the front of the speaker is made of anodized aluminum and matt plastic. A simple, black color subtly reveals the contrast in texture when viewed up close.
