Titled “Expression”, my exhibition this time consists of sketches, oil paintings and storyboards on facial, body and spacial expressions. Exterior expression reveals the characteristics of either people or objects, and it is conveyed perceptively.
As for human beings, expression is not only the superficial reaction to the inner emotions, but our unique language of shape, structure, rhythm and symbol.
In “Facial Expression”, I concentrate on capturing significant facial figures in my daily life. I'm also intended to explore the magic between Shape and Emotion, so as to embody the psychological action, which reveals an individual’s emotion, presence, senses and his/her relationship with another individual.
The study of body expressions focuses on the combination of tendency, figure and tension.
