The aim of the module was to develop a webzine, namely an online magazine which can be regularly updated and is focused on a particular subject. In our case, the subject matter was design history and the most iconic pieces for every time period. The purpose of our webzine was to create a tool for design students which could be educational but nonetheless engaging and fun. Here's the link to the webzine: http://designblocks.altervista.org/
We named our webzine 'Design Blocks' because it's made up of different cubic rooms which can assemble together, like building blocks. A block is also a large single building subdivided into separate rooms, flats, or offices.
Every room repsents a different time period in the history of design, starting from 1850 and until the 1930s. The webzine is clearly expandable, so a new room can be added every month or every year.
