"Postcards" project: The idea of this project was to create postcards based on one word, for example "demon". One of the goals I set for myself was to be able to use different drawing styles, as well as to show different kinds of postcards, some based on "graphic design" skills and some based more on "illustration" skills.
Proyecto "Postales": La ídea del proyecto era crear postales basándome en una palabra, por ejemplo "demonio". Además, me puse como objetivo usar diferentes estilos de dibujo, así como encarar las postales desde diferentes puntos de vista, a veces cercano a la ilustración, a veces cercano al diseño gráfico.
Demon (Demonio): The saying says "the devil is not as black as he is painted". Dicen que el demonio no es tan feo como lo pintan.
Dummy (Chupete): The idea was not show the actual dummy (La idea era no mostrar el chupete).
Homage to Chiquito -Spanish comedian (Homenaje a Chiquito de la Calzada): Selfie from heaven (selfie desde el cielo).
Tasting (Cata): I decided to represent a virtual wine tasting, if it were only possible, right? (Quise representar una cata virtual, ¿te imaginas que fuera posible?).
Nasty (Borde): In this case the key word to represent was "borde" (Spanish), which can have several meanings (usually border or limit, but also nasty or fould mood). In this case I challenged myself to use the two meanings at once. Hope you like it! (Borde puede significar antipático o límite, mi idea era representar los dos significados).
Speaker (Altavoz): 21st century speaker? Homage to Russian Constructivism (El altavoz del siglo 21 + homenaje al constructivismo ruso).
Gourmet: Gourmet to the extreme! Burger perfume, a delicacy (Gourmet extremo, exquisito aroma de hamburguesa).
Cheating (Cuernos): The word "cuernos" usually means horns or cheating, guess which one I chose (¿Qué tipo de cuernos elegí?).
Typographic Poster (Poster tipográfico): I had to make a poster using Typography; which somehow proves that everything is relative (La idea era hacer un póster tipográfico; lo que de alguna forma prueba que todo es relativo).
