Redesigning Center for Orang Asli Concerns (COAC) website. An ongoing website redesign project.
It's easy to forget what is happening out there as a creative. With our looming deadlines, countless iterations and the feeling that we need to stay ahead of everything. When I look back at my works, the ones that give me the most satisfaction are those that don't have money involved. That became the motivation for me to reach out for NGOs who I think I can be of help creatively.
As someone who grew up in a village with the closest neighbour 5km away, I feel some kind of connection when I see Orang Asli and their children in a forest setting. Hence this is really a great project as a start for my efforts on contributing to social causes.
I also took this as an opportunity to find out what's up with Figma (it's hot 🔥 and already changing the way our team work) and CSS Grid. Although the layout has nothing that is not possible with traditional CSS, I find working in CSS Grid change the way I'd structure my HTML and CSS codes. There's a real struggles for sure but this is so much fun!
