Koi Fish (A4 Linocut, limited edition of 22)
Koi fish are one of the most beautiful fish in the world. All the different species of koi look and feel special and each of them is even more colorful and vibrant. The koi fish has a powerful and energetic life force, as shown by it's capability to swim upstream.
In this linocut i tried to capture these aspects of it's unique and colorful character. With a bolt complementary color scheme this really pops out of the paper. Due to the nature of lino printing, all the prints have their own uniqueness captured inside of the poster!
