LUOKKAPP is a concept of mobile application where the goal is to create an easier student attendance solution during lectures and exercises at the University of Oulu, Finland. Using traditional paper-based attendance system creates complexity in data collection and engaging concentration during lectures. Besides teachers also need to have a real-time data tracking system to get the idea of students presence during the lecture.
We were 4 (four) members in our team.
Me: I played the role as the "Lead UX Designer".

i. Traditional paper attendance method is time-consuming for both students and teachers.
ii. Concentration hampers during lecture time to pass the paper among students.
iii. Data inputting mistake by teachers sometimes create a great issue for students.

Final UI Design:
Gamification strategy was applied to make some achievement as visible. Students can view their achievements in every course based on their activities in the lectures. And achievement badges will give them some feeling of doing best in the class even at the university. So, something to achieve will always work on their mind.
Final UI design of the LUOKKAPP mobile app, now students can easily make their attendance system without hampering the concentration during lecture period, course instructors can easily get student attendance data through a single button pressing.
