The Hidden memories Of cartoons
Cartoons has a lot of aspects that comes with it. It also shares the memories of many people. This comes in many forms and a lot of different genres of people’s preference as it has a diverse range that is for different people.  One of the aspects of this is the creators of them and also how they are not always credited for their work in their amazing creations of cartoons.
Now there are many Artists that fit the bill as those who gave us the best of memories and too many to write about but 3 of the best would be Walt Disney, Dr Seuss and Hank Ketcham. They are just 3 of many that has entertained many over the generations of Cartoon history.
Hank Ketcham
Hank Ketcham also known as Henry King Hank Ketcham, is from Seattle and the creator of the character Dennis The Menace. This is a character that has kept our smiles alive for many years and is still a hit today. He knew from a young age that he want to become a cartoonist. He was watching a friend of him drawing a cartoon character and he couldn’t wait to draw his own.  He graduated from Queen Anne High school and started at the University of Washington In 1938. A Year later he dropped out of University to start his career as an animator for films in Hollywood. He worked on many memorable characters such as Bambi, Fantasia, Donald Duck, Pinocchio and Woody woodpecker. Ketcham also served in the navy during World War 2 where he created cartoons for posters, training materials and war bond campaigns. After the war he started his freelance career as a cartoonist and moved to California. (Wilma, 2001)
Theodor Seuss Geisel
Theodor Seuss Geisel also known as Dr Seuss was a cartoonist that was born on March 2, 1904. He published over 60 books and his first book in 1937, And to think I saw it on Mulberry Street, where he first use the name Dr Seuss. Before he became a cartoonist he was a brew master at the age of 18 he left home and attended Dartmouth College and later become the editor of a magazine named Jack-O-Lantern. He later got caught drinking in his dorm and got expelled from the magazine staff but continued using the pseudonym Seuss. Later he attended Oxford University in England. At the beginning of World War 2 he contributed a weekly political cartoon to the liberal publication of PM Magazine.  Following the war he and his wife Helen bought an old observation tower in California, where he would write for most of the day.
Over the next few years he would write many books, both in a new, simplified vocabulary style and using his older, more elaborate technique. (Andrew, 2010)
Walt Disney 

The Founder of Mickey Mouse and Disneyland, Walt Disney world and many more, Walter Elias Disney, a figure known far and wide. He was born in Chicago, Illinois the 5th of December 1901.  He grow up on a farm where he started his drawings and selling them to neighbours. He went to McKinley High school in Chicago. He had two main focuses at the time being drawing and photography. At night he would attend the academy of fine arts.
In 1918 he attempted to enlist for the army but he was turned down because he was only 16 at the time. He then joined the Red Cross. He was deployed overseas, where he was a driver of an ambulance in a van that was covered in drawings and cartoons. After the war he pursued his career as a cartoonist in Kansas City in 1920.
In 1923 he left Kansas City for Hollywood with a few drawings and little money and one animated film. He then met up with his brother, Roy O. Disney where they borrowed money and bought a camera and then set it up in their uncle’s garage. Not long after that they got there first order from New York for the first Alice Comedy.  He had a diverse vision that entitled the joy of many through the difficult times of the war and the Great depression that followed. In 1925 He married Lillian Bounds on the 13th of July. They got 2 daughters 
In 1928 Walter created Mickey Mouse, a house hold name too many, and his creation was first used in a silent cartoon entitled Plane crazy. Not long after the sound came upon the motion picture screen and would see that Mickey get a second round on screen in Steamboat Willie, Which first played at the Colony Theatre in New York on November 18, 1928. Later on he further developed the art of animation as Technicolor was introduced.
On December 21st of 1932 he made the first full-length animation that featured a musical, Snow White and the Seven dwarfs. Following that he completed more of such movies known as Pinocchio, Fantasia, Dumbo and Bambi.
Within a few years of the opening, Disney began plans for a new theme park and to develop Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow in Florida. It was still under construction when, in 1966, Disney was diagnosed with lung cancer. He died on December 15, 1966, at the age of 65. Disney was cremated, and his ashes interred at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles, California. After his brother's death, Roy carried on the plans to finish the Florida theme park, which opened in 1971 under the name Walt Disney World.
