Alto is a pair of smart earbuds which designed for Canada company Earbit inc.. The aim of this project is to achieve the true freedom listening experience. The project started with this challenge demand that gets huge support from the Kickstarter community.
This series of products includes a pair of smart earbuds and a charging station kit. We created the listening experience that recalls the feeling of playing your own music.

Earbuds Design

The Vinyl black earbud series is inspired by the Vinyl disc which represents the classic music disc. The music of Vinyl is coming from the bump texture on itself when the player gently touches on the surface, it will start playing music.
Active & Sleep Mode

Alto features a connection point which attaches the two earbuds together by a magnet. When attached, the earbuds will go into sleep mode. When detached, the earbuds go into active mode, simply put them in your ear and they’re ready to use.
Charging Station Design

The charging station is very minimized, the idea of this shape is to create a sculpture on the table which can be a charging station for your earbuds and the stylish decoration for your desk.

Brand Identity

The ALTO project is not just an industrial design project, but also a project that re-shapes the image of this start-up company. We redefine the idea of this company from product driven to business strategy driven. This new brand identity including all the visual elements, packages, business card, website and new perspective of company.
Packaging Design

The concept of the package has continued the same image of the products using monochrome vinyl black as the core color, and being combined with two finishing, matte and glossy. The back information is printed with special grey color for making the information stand out and clear.
E-Commerce Web Design

The other important touch point of this project is the website. For a start-up company, website will be their most important tool to spread out their ideas and convey their brand story and key features. Moreover, this website is also the first sale point of their premium product.
