Sketchbook #1: Assorted Sketches
Below: Some concept sketches and layouts for a comic project inspired by George Boolos's Three Gods logic puzzle.
Below: Freehand Pokemon sketches to experiment with element effects using markers.
Below: Pre-processed sketches for my NeonMob series Organika. The exploded view creatures are sprite sheets drawn by hand for animation later in Adobe Animate (at the time, Flash).
Below: Assorted face sketches, experimenting with different mixed media techniques for Prismacolor markers and pencils.
Below: Style exploration study of Sasha Unisex. My Style explorations usually start with smaller thumbnail to mid-sized sketches recreating, with some small adjustments, artwork from the other artist (left). I then move to trying to apply the same style to thematically similar original pieces (middle), and later experimenting with applying the style to compositions and subjects without prior work in the studied artist's public works (right).
Below: Experimental surreal eye composition sketches.
Below: A bunch of character head sketches.
Below: Rough, uncolored sketches for some larger pieces.
Below: More pen and pencil sketches and character concepts.
Below: Various pencil sketches and renderings.
