Tools of the Trade: Adobe Illustrator, InDesign

The goal of this school project was to create a typebook based on theme of our choice. The theme chosen was notable quotes from Kurt Vonnegut Jr., an American author famous for his satirical themes and gallows humour. The fonts used are meant to resemble a slightly messy hand lettered look to further reflect the casual irreverence in Vonnegut’s words. The uncomplicated layout of the typography is meant to reflect the author’s simple and straightforward writing style.
