Marbella Design Academy Project
The final Graphic Design project of the second year 2018 is put in place in order to prepare students for real world scenarios such as being part of a working Graphic Design company.
Brochure Inside
For this project I was to choose a design company from a list of which I would thoroughly research and produce an informative presentation for the rest of my class. Alongside this I would also produce a brochure in an innovative format, following the style of the company and would compile and edit the text to make it lively and enjoyable to read.
Brochure Outside
The layout for this brochure would be the main focus, making sure that it fits in with the style of the chosen design company.
Stationary Mockup
After creating the brochure I would choose another piece of unique/novel marketing material of my own choice to produce. I decided to design the stationary and merchandise for the company.
Finally, I would find a project that the company has previously carried out, and follow this brief to create my own outcomes using all of my own original work as though I were a member of the company, pursuing their style but without imitation.
Mood Board
I chose a branding project, that focused on bringing an authentic Italian restaurant to the audience of London. Therefore I looked into current trends and discovered that the 70's & 80's style is very popular, alongside the use of glitches within graphics. It was also important to maintain the organic feeling to the brand to represent the healthier pizza base recipe.
Business Card
In order to create a brand style reflecting my mood board, I took my own photographs using a 70's & 80's inspired model, and created fun and playful imagery which I then went on to edit incorporating the glitch.
