"The Leading Edge"
The Newsletter of the University of Maryland School of Law’s Leadership, Ethics and Democracy Initiative

In 2009, the School of Law launched a new initiative that seeks to bring professional responsibility to the forefront of the legal professions. The Office of Communications was tasked with designing a newsletter that would be published once a year, and highlight faculty scholarship as well as the Law School's activities. The first edition was sent to the Professional Responsibility and Ethics Committees of the Maryland State Bar Association, and the Professional Responsibility and Legal Education Sections of the American Association of Law Schools. It was also included in the 2009 mailing sent to all U.S. law school deans.
