Today I went to Lava Cave in Eldborgarhraun between Krísuvík and Herdísarvík, East of Stóru- and Litlu-Eldborgar with my friend Ellert Grétarsson ( Elg) photographer. - Stalactite on the floor in a Lava cave at Reykjanes Peninsula - #Iceland

Stalactites in a lava cave at Eldborgarhraun between Krísuvík and Herdísarvík, East of Stóru- and Litlu-Eldborgar. This Cave was re-found after 170 years and the colors and the Lava groove is really impressive. To view the whole cave you have to enter in three separate entrances and each cave is a lot different from the other.  This part was filled with Stalactite on the roof as well on the floor. It’s something you don’t see every day. It was really worth spending this day with my friend Ellert exploring and Documenting. Sorry I can’t give you the name of the cave.. . .
