Le soliflore STRATES est composé d’une multitude de plaques de verre transparente ponctuée par trois plaques rouge. Celles-ci sont en verre de St Just, “une matière qui joue avec la lumière et la transparence. Une matière à l’épreuve du temps, alliant la tradition la plus pure à la modernité la plus audacieuse.”
C’est avec la volonté de valoriser ce verre traditionnellement utilisé dans le vitrail que nous avons pensé cet objet. Les différentes strates et l’emploi du sablage profond font échos à la silice, élément prédominant dans la composition du verre.

The STRATES soliflore consists of a multitude of transparent glass plates punctuated by three red plates. These are made of St Just glass, "a material that plays with light and transparency. A material that has stood the test of time, combining the purest tradition with the most audacious modernity."
It is with the will to valorize this glass traditionally used in stained glass that we thought this object. The different layers and the use of deep sandblasting echo silica, the predominant element in the composition of glass.
