Au Naturel's Juice
Design Thinking Assessment CATC
Beginning by researching who the audience and what do they want from a bottle of juice, how would they like it to look and what future they would they expect for the empty bottle. I then begun to investigate what types of packaging would fulfill the audience’s need, and how sustainable they would like it to be. I then brainstormed ideas for the name of the product, I wrote down many names working through the possibilities, I chose the name Au Naturel meaning in French a natural state. Then I looked into shapes I wanted a shape that fit the needs of my user it had to look sophisticated and stand out from the other juices available on the shelf.  At this stage I had three very different shapes and ideas for their future after researching which one will suit the needs of the user more I went on to design the packaging.
The front of the bottle has the outline of a women’s body in its natural state without clothes just like the juice, natural. I have designed the word mark to fit comfortably inside the body using the typeface Bodrum I chose this font as it has the appeal as a modern, simple sophisticated font which is the look my user would like. I have created a simple line drawing of each fruit so the consumer can easily identify the flavour they are after, the drawings are simple and fresh looking. This design will stand out in the fridge with the added unique bamboo base creating a simple modern sophisticated design.
Having worked through my ideas using the stages of design thinking I have learnt an approach to be able to design the best possible concepts for the client, always thinking what does the user want and what are their needs.
