This is a logo design for a Paris-based brand, IWN, specializing in luxury interior decoration objects and textiles. Iwn is an ancient Egyptian word that describes a quintessential harmony between an object's form, its color and its position in space.

I wanted my design to hint at hieroglyphic shapes (typically the the ripple of water).

My client was set on a clean, simple and sans serif treatment of the letters. After some back and forth, we agreed to introduce some roundness that echoed well with the objects, fabrics and silver work designed by the brand.
