Baiana
Identity, Packaging
Baiana is a cafe placed near Porto city, proud for its various qualities of tea and infusions. The brand’s name was inspired in the Brazilian actress and singer Carmen Miranda, known for its exotic character and fashion tastes.
We decided the brand identity and respective logo should emphasize the brand’s name by creating a logo with her face contemplating several fruits placed over the head and a uppercase and rounded typography. The three colors chosen for the project build a pattern used for all the packaging and bags and reflect the coffee beans and warm weather. This project was developed in collaboration with Miguel Ribeiro.
