WheelGo was a personal and fictional project that I made in 2017, inspired by a college work in which we researched how to solve the problem of finding places to go out for people with disabilities, especially wheelchair users, in which they could be comfortable and have no problems getting to the place and using the facilities.
We talked with some wheelchair users and discovered that this problem is very real for them and that it is very hard for them to find places they can go without worrying about the existence of ramps, the door width and adapted bathrooms.
So, the objective of the project it is to be a app they can collectively input data about places and know, before leaving their houses, if the place it is accessible.
