Last year I have made a few artworks, which united under the name White series
Few month ago I realized, that series was milestone, a begining of a new phase for me. In my opinion series is a good form of working with limits. it appears, limits become a good instrument on a way of searching something new.
It is quite strange, but it were the limits, who helped me to create one of the most interesting paintings of the last couple years. I fully realize those paintings are far from ideal. However, there is something important for me. The feeling of liberty, for wich I once felt in love with graffiti.
Starting the project i formed a few simple rules:
1. Every painting is focused not on letters, but on characters and their diversity
2. I deliberately neglect colors and focus on white paint, since my main goal was not to create visual adorability
3. I decided to start mastering roller as a tool
4. The cost of producing every single piece is 5$ or less
5. No sketches. Painting whatever I want in the moment
