I drew these illustrations and printed them as postcards afterward while I was living in Brooklyn in summer 2018, for a record of my memories in New York.
New York was never my type of city, loud, cold and messy, like Beijing, where I was born and raised and tried to escaped from since I was a teenager. But it's the center of Art, Design and Culture in North America, I felt like I've found the long-lost passion of working and creating new work again here. It's the place where American Dreams are made of, and so as mine.
Wish I could have a chance to live in this metropolitan once more in the future.
